Mark Vannoy
Mark Vannoy was appointed Chairman of the Maine Public Utilities Commission in December 2014 by Governor Paul R. LePage. He had previously served as Commissioner being appointed in June 2012 and reappointed in May 2013. Prior to coming to the Commission he worked as an Associate Vice President in the infrastructure and civil practice group at Wright Pierce in Topsham, Maine. Before moving to Maine in 2000, he served as an Officer in the United States Navy, completing tours as a NROTC instructor at Cornell University, and a nuclear tour, as the Damage Control Assistant aboard CGN36 USS California. Commissioner Vannoy graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering. He completed his Masters of Engineering at Cornell University in 2000. His term expires in March 2019.
