Ben D’Antonio
Ben joined NESCOE in January 2012 as Counsel and Analyst. At NESCOE, Ben specializes in the interactions between public policies and wholesale electricity market rules and resource and infrastructure planning. Before coming to NESCOE, Ben worked in the Regional and Federal Affairs Division of the Massachusetts Department of Public utilities as an economist and legal counsel, with a focus on wholesale electricity market and transmission planning issues. Previously, Ben was an Energy and
Environment Fellow with the Regulatory Assistance Project, where he provided support to state utility commissions on clean energy policies. Earlier in his career, Ben worked in financial services as an investment analyst and operations specialist. Ben has a Juris Doctor and Masters of Environmental Law from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of
Arts in Economics from the University of Vermont. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and practices law at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
