Marjorie Rosenbluth Philips (Marji) is the Vice President, Wholesale Market Policy at LS Power. In that capacity she helps direct LS Power’s advocacy with respect to regulatory and legislative initiatives that impact wholesale electric markets. Ms. Philips previously worked for Hess Corporation, which was bought by Direct Energy, PSEG Energy Resources & Trade, LLC, Constellation Commodities Group, and Williams Energy. Prior to moving to the business side, she practiced law with PECO Energy Company – Power Team, which became part of the Exelon companies, LG&E Power Inc., Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and Morgan Lewis. She has an undergraduate degree from McGill University, a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law. She is a past President of the Northeast Chapter of the Energy Bar Association and a former Board member of the Energy Bar Association. She also served as a member of the NERC stakeholder board. She is proud of her parallel career as a mother of two adult children.
