Rick has over 30 years of facilities and energy management experience. He is currently responsible for all aspects of energy management at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a leading cancer treatment and research institution located in Boston. His duties include budget management, weaving energy efficiency into operations and capital projects, and managing the relationship with the privately-owned district energy plant that serves Dana-Farber. He is also leading an effort to procure a virtual renewable PPA to help Dana-Farber offset its carbon footprint.
Rick also serves on the Energy Efficiency Advisory Council, an arm of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Division of Energy Resources. In this role Rick represents Massachusetts’ C & I customers, helping to shape the utility companies’ $2.8 billion, three-year efficiency program to meet the needs of the ratepayers.
