Louise Yeung is the Energy Portfolio Manager for the NYC Economic Development Corporation, where she oversees energy strategies for the agency’s 62 million square feet of properties. She manages energy efficiency, electricity procurement, and the design and implementation of energy infrastructure— including a resilient microgrid for the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center. Prior to joining NYCEDC, Louise spearheaded the climate program at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning and researched environmental governance in post-conflict peacebuilding processes at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, DC. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of SustainUS, an organization that trains and coordinates youth delegations to the UN Climate Negotiations. Louise holds a Master’s in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
