As the Portfolio Development Manager for Shell Energy, Jill leads a team that maintains an integrated view of the power business in the Americas, and the roadmap for how we will deliver and grow it. That portfolio includes power generation, power trading, retail electricity and behind the meter solutions. Jill and her team focus on how those elements profitably come together for Shell in the Americas to meet the needs of customers.
After earning a mechanical engineering degree from Tulane University Jill joined Shell in 1999 and has since earned an MBA from Louisiana State University and served in a variety of roles – primarily in the Downstream manufacturing and Projects & Technology areas. This includes Reliability Engineering, Root Cause Analysis, Operations Management, and Production Excellence for Major Projects both in Front End Design and coordinating large facility startups. She moved to a role in Corporate Strategy in 2016, initially serving as the Regional Strategy Consultancy Manager for the Americas before focusing her efforts to support Shell Energy.
In all she does, professionally and personally, Jill has an interest in understanding how things are connected through time and space, and how we can leverage those connections together to create the future we envision.
