Ben Healey
Ben Healey, Director of Clean Energy Finance, joined the Connecticut Green Bank in 2012 to support
the development of financing solutions that serve to accelerate the deployment of clean energy and
energy efficient solutions across Connecticut. Among other initiatives at the Green Bank, Ben has helped
lead the way in developing the nation’s leading Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program,
structured innovative deals to enable solar investment for non-investment grade properties, and broken
new ground by building clean energy investment partnerships with not only traditional financial
institutions but also emerging players such as foundations and crowd sourcing platforms. Earlier in his
career, he served as the Staff Director to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources in the
Massachusetts State Legislature. Ben holds degrees from Yale’s School of Management and School of
Forestry & Environmental Studies, as well as Yale College, and he is a former member of the New Haven
Board of Aldermen.
