Elaine has overall responsibility for ensuring her team delivers effective security designs to support US projects and National Grid’s overarching business transformation vision. Elaine is also the Service Manager for the IAM solution and the Cloud Access Security Broker, protecting data in the cloud.
After joining Digital Risk & Security in 2015 as a Security Services Architect, Elaine was responsible for the initial implementation of the cyber security delivery framework (CSDF), which defines the project deliverables and processes leveraged by security engineers. The framework is now being reviewed to closely align it with the performance excellence methodology for continuous improvement and Enterprise Architecture tooling. Refreshed artefacts include updated security services, road maps and use cases.
Elaine joined New England Electric System, which was acquired by National Grid, and has held a variety of roles throughout her career, including Senior Information Analyst, Database Administrator, Solution Architect, and Enterprise Architect.
Elaine has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration from Nichols College and has achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and SABSA Chartered Foundation (SCF) Certifications.
