Josh Ryor is an energy policy expert with more than a decade of experience. He has extensive experience in sustainable technologies, utility regulation and business models, public policy processes, and clean energy program and market design. Josh also has a proven leadership and project delivery track record, leading teams of 5-40 and complex initiatives over multiple years.
Josh has an academic background in economics, physics, and engineering. He received the Nugent Gold Medal in 2010 from the College of the Holy Cross as the top physics graduate and completed his Master of Science with distinction in 2013. Josh also received the inaugural Luminary Award from the Connecticut Power and Energy Society in 2021.
Currently, Josh is the Assistant Secretary of Energy at the MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA).
