With more than three decades of experience in government, environmental policy, and advocacy, Ken has always been passionate about addressing the overriding problem of climate change with the solution of clean energy. Over the years, while based in the Boston area, he has had the privilege of serving as the president of the Union of Concerned Scientists, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, and general counsel at the Mass. Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs. At Avangrid since 2022, he now gets to use that experience and my passion for the environment to help pave the way for offshore wind development in the U.S. — a critical component to transition Massachusetts and the country to clean, renewable energy sources.
