Maryette Haggerty Perrault has spent her professional career working to reduce the environmental impact of buildings. Her 15 years of experience have spanned sustainability education, product management, technical delivery, program development, and policy matters in the energy efficiency and distributed energy resource sectors at government, startup, utility, and corporate entities.
Currently, she serves as the Senior Policy Manager for Bloom Energy where she works on matters related to the energy transition and adoption of distributed energy resources to reduce emissions. She joined Bloom Energy in April of 2022 and her role has grown to include leadership of New England legislative and regulatory matters as well as policy support for Bloom Energy projects across the country. She particularly enjoys working on innovative fuel cell projects to enable resiliency and decarbonization.
Prior to joining Bloom Energy, Maryette spent nearly four years at Eversource, she led the effort to redesign the statewide retro-commissioning offering, established a comprehensive measures package offer and supported a variety of customers in their energy efficiency endeavors.
Early in her energy career, Maryette spent 7 years with a startup where she ultimately managed a team of energy analysts and engineers as Building Analytics Manager for the Retroficiency Analytics Platform developing rapid engagement tools to prioritize facilities within large portfolios and identify efficiency opportunities within each.
She is currently the Vice President of the Association of Energy Engineers’ New England Chapter and serves on the Advisory Group for their Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership. Maryette completed a self-designed curriculum at the intersection of architecture, engineering and environmental studies at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA.
